its been two months. I have not heard anything from Patient first.

I have called numerous times only to get voicemail. considering lawsuit.

I fell on July 23rd this year. I could not put any pressure at all on my foot. I went to patient first for the injury. The doctor was so rushed, he did not listen to me when i told him i feel. He look at my swollen foot, poked it, and said i had gout. I said wait a minute, did you not hear me tell you I fell??? He said i never said that. So then he sends me for xrays. Upon returning to my room, i heard the xray tech tell him the theres a giant space in between two bones.. he comes on the room. Pulls up my xray and said theres no break, its just a bad sprain. I said what about that huge gap between my big toe bone and the bone next to it? There's clearly a issue. He told me it's normal and just the way i was laying my foot. te said it was a sprain abd woukd heal on its own. The nurse came in, roughly grabbed my foot abd wrapped it. Than gave me crutches, lost patience with me gecause i could not stand on my own because my foot hurt so bad. She walked me out to the lobby and left me. Tte next morning, they called to tell ne after the radiologist found a small fracture and i shoukd see my pcp asap. I called my doctor who immeadiately made a appointment with a orthopedic surgeon because it was a serious injury. I had to go to patient first to pick up the xrays to take with me. Upon reading the report, they khew how severe my injury was and did not inform me. I wound up with 2 fractures, a dislocation, and i destroyed my Lisfranc ligament. I have to have a extensive surgery to fix it. I actually made the injury worse by walking on it because i was told the fracture was no big deal and it was just sprained. I also gad to have a bone graft done to fix the problem. Im out of work for at least 4 months. I will never go there again.

Disgusting

I went to the Lake Ella Location for a visit on 8-16-10 and a rat jumped out of the table with a patient and staff member in the room. I over heard the scream and apparently the rat was in the exam table chewing paper. Its was ridiculous and disgusting and I will not be returning and I’m sure that patient will not either. However the staff was nice and friendly and quick! If it wasn’t for a rat there I would have been happy but that made my visit very uncomfortable.

These people are Not Proficient at all! I gave the m All my Profile info. And they still sent my bills to my Old Address! Which meant I Never received a Bill at my New Address which was given to the young lady that was supposed to be entering it into Patient First...

Why am I receiving a bill from a collection Agency?

I just received just yesterday a bill from a collection agency that Patient Care is responsible for sending? Don't know why . Haven't been to a Patient Care in a couple of years. Have No idea was the bill is for and when this so called visit was. Very unprofessional! I am not responsible for this bill that I did not create. And would like this issue Resolved as soon as possible so this will not create a problem with my credit. I do know that about 2 weeks ago I found that my account had been compromised. I need a Response right away. My credit has been perfect up until this letter.

Meaning in a name

Despite its name patients clearly don't come first. I was refereed to an endocrinologist by patient first and was told at the time it would take a bit of time to get an appointment. She was right it took over two months. As I got close to the referred appointment I realized I did not have enough medicine and would run out three days before hand. I called the office and told them my predicament I asked if they could call in three days worth of medicine to get me to the appointment. When nurse called back to inform me that the request was denied by the Dr, I was told he would not give me the three days of med.'s to make it to through the weekend. I explained that I worked at a University and and it was graduation requiring me to work this weekend, two twelve hour days and I could not make it in to the office. The nurse informed me that I should not go the three days without my med.s to which I replied that they were leaving me without an option other than to go without. Her reply was okay and hung up. Patient first? I think that answer is clear

Billing nightmare

I have duel insurance.They would only bill my primary insurance, although they had both insurances.They never send EOB to second insurance. I recieved a 90 day notice that I would be turned over to a collection agency. I had to file a complaint with Maryland insurance regulator. A simple tick bite has turned in to a time consuming event. Think, hours on hold with Patient First,Md insurance regulators, and insurance company. DO NOT GO HERE.

Rude Doctor

I went to as a follow-up for a bad reaction to the medication I was given and instead of treating my problem the doctor accused me of being a drug addict and ordered a drug test. I'm in a job where I am drug tested regularly and the medication I was given by Patient First made me even sicker than I was before I went!! What kind of doctors are they hiring?!

Prednisone

I was prescribed Prednosone and not told of the side effects. I would not Have taken the steroid and have been suffering with anxiety blurry vision Confusion fatigue and insomnia. Also irritability.

Incompetant with insurance claims

Patient First does not know how to submit an insurance claim to TRICARE or MEDICARE. They do know how to send you the bill and then not provide any further care, unless it is paid to them in full. They do NOT have a phone number or point of contact to the person working on the bills, nor will they let you speak to them. I was told that Patient First was denied payment from TRICARE and MEDICARE. When I called TRICARE and MEDICARE, they had no knowledge of any bill submission from Patient First. They lie and don`t know what they are doing. I overheard a patient first patient that went to ER at Walter Reed, because of that young soldiers treatment in that place. The military needs to ban these people!!!!

Worst experience ever

Took my friend there and since she had a $91 bill they refused service and she didn’t even know she had a over due bill she was going to pay it so the front desk lady calls a nurse to tell her she can’t be sence even tho she was going to pay the bill that’s tells me patient first doesn’t take seriously now her foot is more swollen than ever

Worst place to go

So I took my roommate there and they refused to take her in because of a bill the lady at the front desk calls a nurse to tell my roommate they won’t see her now that is the worst so your in pain or sick and they do that to you what if it was a life threatening issue no wonder patient first has a horrible rep

They are stupid and slow

Do not go to this place they weren’t even busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Came in for DOT physical got physical done in an hour it took over 2 hours for stupid people to print paper work. DON’T COME HERE Paper work have to be review because stupid doctors don’t know what they are doing

Today I went for a small accidental puncture wound. place was empty so had high hopes. Was placed quickly, then waited 20 minutes while the one doctor carried on a casual conversation with another employee. Not that my injury was so serious but he knew I was sitting there and just kept talking. Finally I just walked out and bandaged it up best I could. Won't be back.
